My criteria for good mobile games is for it to be playable with one finger only. Also side-scrolling runner games (Sheep Happens, God of Blades which is cooler) tend to be ideal for the platform.
I've only just started to look at mobile games since about 2010-11. Why is there nothing but freemium ad-clogged bullshit? It's crazy that a medium like this even exists. Take consideration that the nexus 6 is per se a big phone, so I had to buy this controller cause the other one was too small, and I would had to put the phone on top, and as the phone weights considerably more than the little controller, it would have been really uncomfortable. This model allows me to lock it in the middle and is much more comfortable as a handheld.

Most emulators I have autodetect any wireless Imput device and I just have to map the buttons, for example to make the buttons match the snes controller scheme or ps1 scheme. And you can make invisible the buttons in the screen.
