>120GB drive
Is this 1999?
>>
>>333021185

>>
>>333021018
install steam on your main drive

you can create steam folders on any drive

this

>>333021283
That's no excuse. It's 2016, get a fucking decent size drive. You might have to pay quite a bit more to get an SSD with a decent size but 120GB is ridiculously small.
>>
>>333021485
well I got 1 tb drive for steam games and another 1tb drive for emulation
>>
>>333021485
Buying for need isn't necessarily a bad thing.
>>
wut
>>
>>333021837
How do you "need" a tiny fucking drive in 2016? Fuck, I'll bet Windows by itself takes up a huge fraction of that drive.
>>
>>333021485
SSD's are rarely used for actual storage. Just install Windows on it and bam, everything you do is twice as fast.

how do u install agmes to other drive
>>
>>333021018
Install Steam and any other applications you tend to use a lot on your SSD. Also, if you have space, put games that have a lot of loading screens on your SSD as well (e.g. MMOs, RPGs, etc). The difference in loading times is very noticeable and well worth it.

unless you have a really old ssd, install games wherever you want. the days of walking on eggshells around ssds are over. ssd firmware, controllers, and nand has come to a long way to minimize wear levelling. you would have to write an utterly enormous amount of data per day for YEARS to even come close to doing anything.

at the rate the technology is improving and getting better prices you will replace your drive long before you wear it out.

Yes install games to a normal hdd. Very few games benefit from ssd.
>>
>>333023058
pls be trolling

loading times is benefit enough
>>
you have to use the SSD with the drivers or else you're just using a flash disk; install steam to the C:\ drive and then install your games to your 120 if you don't care. If you do care, install steam to the 120gb drive and your games one by one.

you dont really need 500gb right now.

a sub 350gb or 240gb drive is more than enough to install windows and your 'important' games like online stuff where you wanna load levels really fast. also remember you don't need something expensive like a 950 pro for video games either. shop around and watch shopping sites for sales.
