Every single time I do I find someone with completely different taste to me.
People's taste really deviate when it comes to music to the point there's not even any point discussing it anymore.

I mean technically? But there's some objectivity. Like whether or not a song/piece uses sufficient dynamic contrast more than terraced dynamics, or different rhythmic patterns, or tempos or...you get the idea. There's a certain objectivity to that.
It's not as much about "This piece is better than the other" as it is "This piece is better than the other BECAUSE <clear usage of musical terminology"

That OST is masterfully arranged and provoking. A.Wintory is the best in the business right now.
Games like Chrono Cross and various FF games are generally seen as the greatest of all time. Journey trounces them like they're nothing though.
You do have to respect the sort of "we can make whatever sounds we feel like it" attitude of game OSTs though. It's just that Journey's is leaps and bounds beyond that.
Apotheosis STILL gives me chills. Don't turn it into a brag thread though. It's really not fair to make a comparison w/
other games (keep in mind a lot of people think the persona games are the best soundtracks in gaming...)
