DT2 really is the best one I've ever played. Hell it's one of the most enjoyable games I've ever played. Put like 170 hours into it and had fun the entire time which is something that never happens.
SoSC might not be as good but I hope it comes close.

Yeah, DT2 was a whole lot better than I expected. It has an absurd amount of content, but it never really dragged because every new dungeon actually presents some new challenges. It has the best difficulty curve of any game I can think of offhand.
I doubt SoSC will compare favorably to DT2 in any aspect other than artwork, but I'm still looking forward to it.
