I enjoyed the game for what it was if that matters. Gotten all the achievements and played it on harder difficulties on further playthrus.
It was one of the first games I ever streamed on Twitch.

didnt really like fidget as a character but she and the blacksmith lady looked like ok designs. Story wasn't super engaging but was good enough for what I paid.

Yeah, the ending was clearly rushed and pretty bad.
As for the characters, I thought they were fairly decent for what the game was. Some select bad voice acting and hammy lines, but I've honestly heard worse from AAA games all the same. NPC animations were clearly poor Flash animations. But the designs were alright, if a bit uninspired with most of the standard characters.
Maybe it was just Fidget's (better) design or me expecting more, but Dust and most other characters felt like some really generic furry character designs.

Regardless of how bad the author's taste is, you can feel that it has some love and attention to detail in it. That's enough for me to be able to appreciate it when comparing it against lifeless AAA games.
