So square teased us yesterday with some new kind of battle system modes to switch between that they will reveal soon. Then I remembered this:

So now the question is: is what we're playing now in the platinum demo, the casual gameplay or the technical gameplay? What will change?

It's challenging, looks cool, and might have other benefits. In the demo's case: makes it so you don't have to deal with the context sensitive dodging cancels.

I've seen that particle effect numerous times now, but I am just now realizing it's oddly similar to Cloud's shit in Advent Children. They literally want to make Advent Children the game.

Am I the only one who likes Dusce's battle system more? Maybe it has more to do with "more" enemy variety in actual combat or something,but I just feel that the combat is much more realized. Hopefully things change for the better closer to release...
