no, tastosis were paramount to esports success because their banter basically provided surrogate friendship for most of the foreveralones that coincidentally helped justin.tv and then twitch.tv get on the proverbial map.

Early GSL was on Gom.tv though. It only moved to twitch after like 2 years.

I watched the first 5 seasons of GSL, you had to watch it through Gom player, or watch a restream. Justin.tv turned into twitch before GSL switched, even then they had stupid payments. Afreeca buying GSL was the best thing to happen.
