Zero issues on my end. Seems to work flawlessly even on my toaster.
I like it, but it's harder than I thought it would be. First thing I noticed is that it's a lot faster than I expected.

Sadly, the notebook I have is too toasterish to meet the requirements outside 640x430.
I still play it like that. I was hype for the game and it didn't disappoint.
I'm having a problem with the port.
I'll join my friends lobby with another friend in that same lobby, we can't see each other but only the friend who is hosting.
When the game loads we all get kicked back into the main menu.

Game speed is tied to framerate.
While most people still have 60hz displays and wont notice this issue (Windows 10 enforce vsync), I feel like someone should have thought of this.
Unless I play it in a window at the lowest resolution with all the enhancements off, it's as ski as frozen oil. And even then the sound is off on player intros.
Good thing I have no desire to play online.

The port's been great to me so far. The only problems I've had were the game crashing on me during a ranked qualifier, which counted as a loss, and getting randomly kicked out of a lobby once.
Actually playing the game has been smooth as fuck.
I wonder how many sales are lost because of Windows 10 store exclusivity.

As much as I hate to say it, I think MS could really benefit from pulling a Ubisoft here. Allow the game to be on the Steam storefront, but still require it to be opened through the MS store to allow for the crossbuy/crossplay features to work.

Fighting games always have reactionary periods where everyone is shouting about how X character is OP and Y character is dead in the water. Give it some time to die down, and also give IG time to iron out the issues. Apparently Kan Ra and Glacius have some sort of game breaking bug that needs to be fixed.
Every time a new character is released in a season, things get rebalanced and bugfixed. So when we get Mira this month, expect changes.

It's something that is pretty unique to KI, so it's a skill you haven't really picked up from other fighting games, so you have to start from scratch. Luckily, the game has a training mode specially for it. Hit that before ranked for a bit.

The shadow single player mode and a new MP mode are planned for non character related content if I'm understnding what you were asking.
We don't know anything about the new MP mode other than it being listed in the season 3 tailer and supposedly coming in July with the 8th and final character, but the shadow mode actually sounds kind of interesting. Pick 3 characters as a team and you go around the world defending shadow clone locations as you try to stop Gargos' invasion. They even mentioned they plan on making some kind of crafting system for it so it's probably going to be interesting.
I don't recall any mention of it, but I imagine some kind of story mode as well.

Are the attacks from the oponent very fast?
Press weak punch + weak kick
Are the kinda fast but not that much?
Press Middle punch + Middle kick
Are they strong attacks?
Press Strong Punch + Strong Kick
Many beginners usually just use one type of punch or kick for their combos, so if the oponent does that same combos all the time, try with one set of buttons, if it doesnt work, next time try the other set of buttons.

IF it lands, you get the chance of hitting 2 normal attacks, i.e.
QCB + K
Medium punch * 2
At this point you can then perform another special move, HOWEVER if you perform the strong version of the SPECIAL move, it WILL END the combo, so you have to decide if you want to extend the combo or finish it for quick damage. if you want to extend the combo, then perform a special move again but with a weak or medium button.

medium punch * 2
QCB + Medium Kick

At this stage you HAVE to finsih the combo, if you dont finish it with a STRONG SPECIAL move then, it will do far less damage, so make sure to input a special move with either a Strong Punch or Strong Kick

The only character you can really mash out combos with that are in anyway decent is Sabrewfl if you really going with the definition of mash, and he's meant to be scrub friendly, I guess. Even then, mashing is not going to get you anywhere near the optimal combo and will be something that is quite easy to break. And if you're mixing up combos, then you're not mashing them. It's pretty damn easy to break mashing, becaue you can't really mash manuals and auto doubles are not ideal.

Because when I was on the XBONE playing it I saw that I had the season 1 characters so I just bought season 3 instead, when I synced with the PC version I noticed they were gone, because another account on the console had purchased them that I forgot about. So realizing I fucked up I just got the 1+2 combo pack on top of season 3. Will more than likely end up buying retro costumes for Rash (since he looks better with it in my opinion) and Riptor. A lot of the retro costumes don't look too good in my opinion, but they're a cool option.
