Going on a 10 hour car trip tomorrow, have a PSP with a 1 GB mem stick. What games should I get that will fit on it? I'm thinking Prinny and Ghost Recon, but I'd like other suggestions.

Maverick Hunter X
>1 GB memory stick
Get some emulators and games of your choice. It's much more space efficient.

The CEO of the small company I work for does this. I always thought he was just quirky, but is it actually better?

First of all, get a memory stick with more space.
Then get CFW
Then get the following games
Ace Combat X
Ace Combat X2
Wipeout Pulse
Wipeout Pure
Maverick Hunter X
Burnout Dominator
Burnout Legends
Metal Slug Anthology
Patapon 1, 2 and 3

Leaning back at a ~135 degree angle is the perfect sitting stance when using a computer on a table.
Ogre Tactics or Final Fantasy Tactics: WOTL should last you many hours

How are the burnout games? Never p[layed one, I'm not a huge fan of racing games but they seem interesting. How's the replayability? Is it just standard racing game?

Burnout is by far the most fun you'll ever have in a racing videogame in your life. Granted you're not a racing simulator diehard fan and can like different things, if you're into arcadey, not-100%-realistic racing games, you'll like Burnout (and Wipeout too).
Burnout games have a lot of replayability since you have a shitton of cars, stages and shortcuts to find/unlock, how do you do this? By racing and destroying everything in your way. Shit never gets old.
Burnout 3 for PS2 is the best of the series, but since you're on a PSP, I recommend trying out Legends, and then Dominator.
