No, and she wasn't even lusting after this Link in particular (who hasn't even awakened as the hero at the beginning of HW).
She initially just took interest in the legendary hero's "unique soul" since she could see all the different incarnations of Link with her magic. Then she got sad because the soul was already bound to Zelda's, and Ganon took the opportunity to warp her into a possessive evil bitch.

Legends spoilers:She wasn't dead, just trapped inside the darkness.
Phantom Ganon makes a final move to steal what remains of her power. Link, Lana, Tetra, and the King all go to save her. She then aids them in taking down Phantom Ganon. Tetra and the King return to their world, and Link and Lana bring Cia to the castle, who is stunned by their kindness. Cia is trusted with the triforce of Courage again, and the three Triforce holders finally set things right for real this time.
Cia and Lana return to their temple together where they decide to watch over the Triforce holders and pieces together in harmony this time. Art at the end implies that Lana grows up to be basically a full twin of Cia but with a different colour scheme.
Wizzro is meanwhile locked back inside the ring he was cursed into so isn't dead, but Volga, who was just a noble warrior who got brainwashed, is still dead.
