Cold Fear
Just got to the Oil Rig. Good game, absurdly easy and action-focused. Keyboard controls are fantastic, no gamepad support but all is forgiven. Controls like ObsCure, if you've played that, except it switches to third-person camera movement while aiming or in open spaces.
If you played Resident Evil Revelations or Dead Space and want more of that then Cold Fear is the game to get. Don't regret it at all.

For starters the game is locked in 720p windowed mode. And you can't do anything about it other than alt+enter it to full screen, there's no settings menu, there isn't external program for it, not even a text file anywhere in the game files. Second: controls are bound to 360 controller(not sure how it would react to any other) and keyboard controls are mapped to it, if you want to change your keys you go into game directory and there's a file with them to edit. And the little cherry on top is that the game does not have a means to exit it, you have to use windows' own features.

Yeah, unlocking shit is hard but, while skills show on parts after you unlock them, fucking web passwords are often leave me wondering how I was suppose to decipher it.

As for me FM1 and FM2 are better, FM2 by a large margin despite horrendous loading times and blocky looking wanzers.
