Dear lord, wasn't it supposed to be the casualest shit ever? I had to play 60 hours and I couldn't clear chapters 23 onwards without grinding because everyone in my army was made of thin paper. Everything turns into "pray for dodge" in the last chapters, holy shit.
Now I want to move on nohr lunatic classic blind, but I'm kinda scared since there's no way to grind some exp on the way. Should I justpiratethe DLCs and get online working, since now I can't do online battles because I didn't accept the terms or something?

Conquest is built around not having the ability to grind, so nothing is truly overpowered, even in Lunatic. You absolutely should not have to grind.
Just prepare for a long, LONG ride, because it's still an incredibly difficult challenge. Make sure to start lubing up before chapter 10, because that is truly vicious (but one of the best maps in the entire series to date).
You will have to pick and choose who you bench and who you use. Use MyCastle to build up supports if you're a completionist, but that's not required.
And yes, Mozu is worth it and she is very good. Not sure if you used her in Birthright, but as long as you're not doing a LTC run, she will be a fantastic addition since you hardly have any bow users at all.

On the subject of Mozu, you need to know Villager isn't a special class in this game. That basically means you should (must, really) reclass her as soon as you get her. Don't waste life trying to level her up as a villager. Underdog is definitely not worth the pain.

I can confirm this, I fucked up my Mozu pretty bad by leaving her as a Villager. And for fucking Basara of all things. At least it was on Birthright, on Conquest, I reclassed her to archer right, she was a crit machine then, give her a Killer Bow and watch the fireworks.
She's pretty frail though, but Archers aren't meant to be touched anyway.

Her growths tend to fuck her over and she is stuck in a place where there is large amount of units that fill the same niche as her while also having a good niche skill, which she lacks due to having a skill that depends NOT ONLY on a crit happening BUT also being the one to follow up on the crit.
In theory you could have Percy, Odin, Charlotte, etc crit next to her, but even on Nohr Lunatic... what are the chances the crit would've killed the enemy anyway?
Realisticly you can use any unit you want and she's not a gimmick based unit, like say Peri, but there's not really much reason TO use her. Especially considering Laslow has a good rally ability and Soliel can inherit alot of great skills AND has a decent pair up skill.

I turned Siegbert into a Lodestar because I had too many cavaliers. I don't regret it all, but then again, he was probably going to be good either way because he got Corrin's Dragonic Hex. Shit's good.
But if you don't want him, use it on someone fast, Lodestar is meant to be a speedy glass canon. One of their skills increases your speed by 4 but lowers defense by 1, not to mention the Dual Guarder skill that makes them really useful for Pair Up.

Also can someone explain me how level ups work in lunatic? Does the game roll all the level ups for all the characters at the start of the game or are the level ups hard coded in? Even in Lunatic Conquest, the Great Wall of Takumi is SIGNIFICANTLY easier if you pair up a swordmaster Corrin to Xander and just solo the whole map. 26 likely can't be solo'd though.

Well yeah, since you'd need to block off the bottom hallway with a unit that is neither armored nor on a horse. Plus there's an entrap maid with sorcs on the right side of the map and the boss himself is a wizard. Having a staff user with entrap yourself (to kill Hans), along with durable mage-killer like Kaze, really helps get past alot of the bullshit on this map.
