Honestly I would say do this, cuz it worked for me.
1. Pick a character that you like to play.
2. Go to youtube and find a combo video.
3. Watch video and choose 1 combo to learn.
4. Go play survival mode and practice that 1 combo on the CPU until it's muscle memory.

Streetfighter is easy as fuck to get good.
Learn a couple combos off YouTube, practice them for a couple days, and then just start fighting people.
It isn't Guilty Gear, everything in SF is piss easy and the neutral is for retards.

I trained with him a whole day and jumped into ranked and got fucked up.
I think it's because i think of him as a grapler to much, when really his command grab is propably best used as mix ups durring the combos he already has.
