I honestly think it's really good and don't understand the hate it gets. It's too easy, sure, but aside from that it's fantastic imo.
LttP is more well made and should be better, but LBW is just smoother and funner to play today.
Without a doubt best Zelda since Twilight Princess for me, though that's not saying much.

Different progression, different presentation, different puzzles, a bit easier overall but honestly what post LttP Zelda isn't.
It's not LttP Remastered, it's a sequel in the same world with plenty of differences.
