I think the most detrimental thing to shounen has been its influence from professional wrestling.
1. Talking about shit no one cares about when you want to kill each other (cut to people who are standing around for no reason reacting)
2. Building up to a fight later for no reason
3. Sensei basically acting like valets (boilerplate advice, don't actually do anything)
