Because partially personal attachment to the concept, plus you don't exactly look cool playing a DS while battling demons.Well the story is sorta cringey, but I was in an RP site that had finally realized persona wasn't everything, so they made Demifiends, persona users, avatar tuners, and devil Summoners all playable "classes" with their own unique gimmicks and playstyles.
Because everyone wanted to be cool edgelords with personas or I'M LITERALLY TURNING INTO A DEMON YOU GUISE, I picked up literally the only summoner on the site.
The concept was sort of based on the Soul Hacker, but we were only allowed to have primarily arm-mounted COMPs for the sake of every class having a distinct visual difference.
So what I did was make a GUMP whose screens disconnected from the gauntlet onto the gun section that was stowed in the back of the main system.
Long story short, one of the first demons my guy got was Christine, he made friends with literally the only not mentally retarded Demifiend on the site, and they went on a road trip to conquer hell, beating up edgelords and demon lords along the way.I can tell stories if you like...

If you want the full story. I knew the group since Middleschool, some RL friend dragged me to the site. Shit was fun, shit happened, and I wound up friends with a lot of them. And the group kind of moved all over the place before settling on the SMT game. They recently disbanded due to one of the faggot GMs focusing too hard on FATE and saint Seya that the plot imploded on all his literally impervious GMPCs.
Then his actual characters came into light, and one was literally a ripoff of DIO, and he cheated the system to make it so you literally couldn't beat him, but he went around getting into fights all the time, including at one point assaulting my dude's Demifiend bro.
Essentially that dickass from the Guyardo Copypasta who had plot coupons out the ass and had the story world by its ballsack.
Everyone got sick of him and the site died.
Still, it was a memorable adventure while it lasted.
