Replaying Kingdom Hearts desu. Has some fun gameplay, nice music, and I like some of its quirkiness, but it's obviously very much a deviantart teen's wet dream. The fact I was 9 when it came out probably does change my view of the series. It just seemed so cool to be able to fight Disney villains in that way, and I just enjoyed the ride.

Even if the killer was never going to be revealed, every revelation in the show is related to uncovering another aspect of the murder. Saying the show is not about the murder is preposterous. If it had only been used as a hook to bring in "the outsider" as you claimed, that would be one thing, but the search for the killer literally moves the plot forward through the entire show. I watched a bit of it on YT and fucking cringed at the dialogue. It's so bad. The slang, I'm pretty sure, is horribly outdated or doesn't even fit the locale of the game.
