Slim version usually fixed technical issues and lowered power consumption/heating. That's exactly what we got with the CUH-1200 models that began being produced since fall 2015. Even the people who waited for the CUH-1200 model got fucked.

The fucking thing has like 2 worthwhile exclusives on it, with most of the releases coming out this year being HD rereleases. Unfortunately Valve SteamOs is a joke and choosed the open configuration approach instead of the 3 tier one.
I'm pissed that my PS4 died without warning a month out of warranty. All it does is turn on for about 7 seconds then the light strip goes off and it cuts out just after. There's literally no diagnosing the problem and because of where I live, sending it to Sony is not an option and there's no repair shops that can be trusted (lol 3rd world). This PS4.5 shit is just pissing me off even more.
