Got a new laptop, not very good at knowing about power requirements to run vidya, these specs good enough to run a good game? If yes, which ones?
Sorry anon, you have a potato. It can run some older stuff, but not anything recent at a decent speed.

Return it and buy a desktop plus a cheap laptop. My cheapass budget AMD build from 2010 btfos your laptop.

Mine is an A10-8700P with R6 and I run Fallout 4 pretty nicely, I don't know how much difference there is between mine and yours though. >.>

With those specs? Anything before 2006. You bought a potato.

what the fuck anon?

Haha that actually made me laugh. Poorfag here, think it'll run tf2? Thats all i wanted to play anyways

Probably. I was playing a heavily modded Skyrim on a literal Dual-core 1.0ghz amd apu. Those "potatoes" can handle quite a bit nowadays.
You won't be playing in HD or anything like that and you will have to cut corners but people sayin nothing is playable are master racers who will accept nothing less than 60fps.

I dont see why not. You will probably be able to play 90% of what Steam gives you.
I play games on my girlfriends 3 year old dell laptop and it runs recent games just fine. You'll be ok. The master race is quite literally a meme.

You could play a little bit older stuff and some of the easier to run games. No new AAA titles though

Thanks that gives a little hope for when i try and run it (: and idont mind running in low graphics because graphics don't make a good game

By the way, you know exactly what the difference is between dual, single and quad core is? I'd search it but i can never find the answer i'm looking for
