Didn't the Anime completely shat on the original innocent Gilgamesh and Ki's character, in favor of the Anime OG main cast?
I heard Gilgamesh becomes edgy as fuck and Ki betrayed him at some point.

Ki is hilariously useless as a character, which makes Quest of Ki a surprisingly fun game. That's "Can't even duck without first violently ramming her head into a ceiling" useless, if you don't know.
She gets significantly less useless once she has the Blue Crystal Rod in subsequent games, though.

Too bad I can't because my PS2 kicked the bucket a few days ago, and my PS1 is also apparently dead.
I stopped at floor 59 last time I played because the damn Hyper Armor is more of downgrade than an upgrade, and I figured I'd skip it next time.
