Microsoft shit themselves by revealing their greedy, out-of-touch nature by releasing a more expensive machine with many features actual customers hated. Sony could do anything and still look better, but they released an excellent machine and manipulated their PR perfectly to take advantage of Microsoft's disaster. Initial consumer enthusiasm and sales means this was over day 1.
It's also clear what kind of shit Microsoft WOULD pull if they could get away with it, so it's stupid to support them in the future. WiiU is insignificant.

I am from outside the US, I need those codes to buy games on the store. My regional PSN shop has far less games than the US PSN and games are 50% more expensive and undergo 50% less sales. This is why I switched over to US PSN so Sony would stop fucking up my asshole so bad with my shitty regional PSN shop.
