Just finished the Ivory King DLC for 2.
3rd ever playthrough of the game. Definitely a lot more clusterfucky than 1. Everything is just narrow paths or halls with as many enemies possible crammed in.
DLC was pretty good though. Currently a 45/45 quality build, swapping between BS Katana and Fume GS. Might move on to NG+ but dunno.

If you roll with dex Balder Side Sword and Estoc are great picks. For strength I usually gun for Demon Great Machete and other greatswords, there's also Grant but even though Grant is cool it isn't very good. Quality can use pretty much anything, Clay is definitely a strong choice.

There's also the Snake Sword from sens, really just go for a weapon you like the moveset of and get a buff. Fair warning though, it's a lot easier to just get SLB over DMB.
I got pretty lucky my first run through Dark Souls, was also doing a str/fai build and the Demon Great Machete dropped for me from the Capra Demon. You could try to get it at that point if you're comfortable popping 10 manatees.

Just started a playthrough while I wait for DaS3. Haven't played DaS1 since a few weeks before DaS2 came out. Jankier than I remember. Starting to make me think Bloodborne is the best in the series.
Trying to go through Bloodborne again + DLC for the first time. At Nightmare Frontier now. This was probably the worst area in the game for me when I first played it.
Am I the only one who actually really liked New Londo? It was spooky and intriguing to explore the first time and it's very easy to run through on subsequent playthroughs - what's not to love?

Borderless window increases input lag as well. No v-sync, fullscreen is what you want if lag is a problem. There's no way to remove screen tearing without introducing input lag without things like gsync.

Really though, what the other guy said. Pillars are crucial; Ornstein's easier to take care of first. If you get him on his own, don't be afraid to rush him down, their movesets aren't great on their own and he's easily staggered by a heavy weapon. Good luck.
