The DX11 generation tech used for #FFXV is for console only. Once FFXV is out on console we may look at a higher spec version for PC

PC at full price on launch is the only way. If they delay it, they've already lost customers due to dead hype and aging.
Literally every demo is run on pc nowadays. It don't mean shit.
According to wikipedia FFVII has sold 11 MLN of copies in TOTAL....
Not sure FFXV will break the 10 MLN copies
They are rereleasing almost every FF on PC, so it seems pretty obvious that XV will come out on PC.
However, it could take from a few months to a few years after the console release.

Few months sure, but that's it. Old console games needed to be ported. PS4/Xbone games don't need to be ported, they're all the same architecture. They're basically mini-PCs already
All arcade games released in the last decade or so run on regular Windows PCs. That doesn't mean any of them are available on Steam.
Not releasing on PC is purely a business decision. It has nothing to do with whether or not they have the ability to port it.
