Playing the game on PC has many objective benefits (price, performance, graphics) whereas the people arguing for the PS4 version only seem to bring up subjective vague shit like that the community on Sony consoles is somehow magically better than on other platforms for some reason. Or being plain uninformed and assuming retarded shit like that PC can only use KB+M. Other popular, often used "argument" is that PC players won't buy the game or will just pirate it, which supposedly shows publishers that PC ports are a complete waste of time. This isn't just limited to Dark Souls 3 by the way, it happens every time with multiplats.
I can perfectly understand people picking the PS4 version of DaS3 if they only have a toaster for a computer or if their friends will be playing on console, but not why they would subject themselves to an inferior experience if those two things aren't an issue. I'm going to go ahead and assume that people arguing for PS4 ITT don't have both platforms and are just desperately trying to justify why their platform of choice gets an objectively worse version of a game they've been long hyped for. That or they're just false flaggers looking to rile up shit.

You can't generalize like that. There are plenty of reasons to get an inferior multiplat on PS4 and some are quite simple.
A friend of mine has a 2500€ 2 year old PC and yet got FF14, an MMO, for PS4 instead. He's also buying DaS3 for PS4. Simply because he feels like it. That's enough of a reason
I for example don't want to bother installing DaS3 on PC, for some reason I don't replay PC games as much as I do on consoles. I like to sit comfy, open a podcast and a couple of threads while I play a game on the big screen. I'm awake I can play from my PC with a HDMI to the TV and I do that with emulators, but it's simply not the same. Changing the cable every single time, controller drivers fucking up every so often, a random glitch I'd only get on PC. Heck, simply moving the window from one screen to the other is too much work
I just want to turn shit on and play the game straight away with zero setup whatsoever. If I have 40-70 tabs open like I often do I don't have to close half of them in order to play. If I'm straming my art and want to make a 10 min pause to play a match I don't have to close the stream and Zbrush/photoshop.
Not to mention none of the Souls games have had perfect ports, not even DaS2.
I have an 880 and Raid0 SSD's for games, loading times would be probably 8x quicker than on PS4. Yet I dont want to bother.
Playing comfy on the PS4 just feels great.
