I'm considering making the jump to Linux.
I've narrowed my choices down to Mint, Fedora, and Elementary
which one should i use?
mint if you are used to windows
Install Gentoo
/g/ - technology would be a better place to ask, if you can stand the pretension.

I can't

tip internally, anon.
>>332650585
>fedoraI'd go with Mint honestly.

It's actually not that hard, just follow the guide. The thing is that you have to actually do everything yourself instead of clicking Next for three minutes, and the initial compiling takes so fucking long holy shit
>>332650858
Yeah, i'm basically retarded, why do you think i'm switching to linux?
>>332650585
>memeface
Her name is Sharkteeth
>>332650585
xbuntu mostly becuse the software center
>>332650737
I doubt it
it's probably the kind of thing they see asked every single day, and when that happens you switch to answering only with memes
>>332651037
>Any 'buntu
remove yourself
>>332650585
>Fedora
MUH LADY
HAHAHAHAHAHA THERE IS A FUCKING VERSION OF LINUX CALLED FEDORA!!!!! I'm literally crying!!!!
dnf is the best packager ever and you're a fool to not use a dnf based distrofedora all the way
>>332651057
You are probably right. I've only ever been to ask some tard question in the qtddtot threads every once in a while.
Mint is literally made to look and feel like Windows.
>>332651274
I-is it not like I like the n-name or anything! baka
>>332651057
Eh, last I checked /g/ out it was basically circlejerking about consumer tech, desktop ricing, battlestation threads and the occasional programming question. I miss the /g/ that actually got shit done, like that one FTP exploit in Asus routers
>Mint
apex lsl
>>332650737
Nah. Here is a better place to get an answer because people are more likely to consider gaming and there aren't many linux memes. Over in /g/ asking this will just get you memed on.
No matter which one you pick, fans of all other distros will tell you you chose wrong.
>>332651680
He's already made the mistake of not calling it GNU/Linux
>>332652058
> I'd just like to interject for moment. What you're refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux.
That's all any /g/ thread like this would be full of.
>>332651925
this desu
All the fart sniffing that surrounds the Linux community is about to get butt blasted by a wave of normalfags thanks to Windows 10
>>332652841
Man I don't think even normalfags can penetrate the literally weaponized autism of the hardcore linux fanbase. It'll be funny to watch them try though.
>>332652953
Haha.. Fair point.
