How do you do Rashid's 8th trial? It's the one where you have to activate v trigger, ex eagle spike, jazz hands then ex spinning mixer. I've done it with Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, and Cammy so far
Ryu and Ken generally follow the same gameplan, Shoryuken because the AI barely punishes it and to get pressure off of you, and then on knockdown, spam deep jump ins and crossups into combos.
Managed Chun-Li with her v-skill spam, AI doesn't react well to it, and it's way better than her normal jump because it's too floaty. Cammy is the same as Ryu and Ken except she has a bad crossup, so you have to be careful with your jump ins.
Nash I'm working on, but jumping in behind heavy Sonic Booms is what has been carrying me so far

I hit 655k with all stories (including Alex), all trials (including Alex), all easy mode survival (including Alex), all normal mode survival (including Alex), Hard Survival cleared four times, hell cleared once, all demonstrations watched (including Alex), and somewhere between 350-450 ranked/casual wins online.
Take away the hard and hell survival clears, I'd probably put it somewhere over 500k. I was at 533k before the Monday update.

Alex is a ton of fun. Finally have a reason to play the game since I've learned every character and didn't particularly mesh with any of them. Usually main Guile, found solace in Bison, but wins came much easier playing as Ryu or Laura. I told myself if I didn't like Alex I'm returning SFV until the first wave of DLC is over but Capcom actually came through, the absolute madmen.
Also, Alex's story costume (color 05) is one of the best. Love feeling cozy while I fight.
Has anybody else been experiencing longer load-times since the update? That includes looking for a match. I guess, if that's what you're going for. Try and do something that links together, search on Youtube for some easy combos for your character and try doing them until you get your timing right. Head into the trial mode too, there should be some useful stuff there.

Why do they seek to lock characters colors behind a level/survival system? It also limits people having their own color for tournaments. Atleast im sure most people will have alts unlocked on the setups at tournaments later on but not all colors that is for sure.
I know its alittle autistic but everyone has their own specific color and it seems really stupid Capcom in all their jewy ways misses a very simple one.

Neutral j.LK is godlike air-to-air, especially if you can keep them in corner with it.
Jump back j.LP is alright in some situations.
Also you can slide/dash away from some bad jump-ins.
Target combo is unsafe. df.HP on its own is actually safe and godlike.
Learn "counter hit st.MK, st.LK xx LK scissors"confirm. You can also cancel scissors into V-trigger and finish with st.lp xx blast xx EX scissors.

Bison's dash is really slow. Pretty much everyone can punish recovery with low normal xx special, or sweep.

So far, yes. I don't mind his design during the matches, and he has a pretty good range of attacks. I've never minded charge moves, so it's fun playing as him.

I have maybe fought 4 Vegas since I bought the game, so you were just lucky. Alex is new so they are out in force. Mika is the "brain dead" character of this game so she'll be popular with the people who just want to play and win.

It's tied for second slowest dash in the game at 22f, dude. It covers a lot of distance but it's too slow to be used for the dash throw game against high level players.
