Aside from all the titties, is this game any good? How does the gameplay feel?
Played maybe 10 hours so far. It's pretty good. The girls that I've tried each feel different (playstyle-wise), and there seems to be pretty decent enemy variety so far. The story is pretty throwaway (what were you expecting?), but some of the dialogue is funny/weird. Obviously there's a ton of lewd, and it's pretty cool if you're a fan of huge tits (and if you're not, get the fuck out here and kill yourself). It's got that musou style, just on a smaller scale with more combos/options. The dress-up portion is hugely in depth.
I've got the Vita version, but the PS4 version is presumably the same with better graphics (though the Vita also looks great).

Fewer enemies is what I meant by smaller scale. The PS4 version might have more on screen, though that might throw off the balance. There's plenty of action, though, don't let me dissuade you. It's not a slow game by any means. Lots of combos and aerial attacks to be had. It's got MP but I haven't tried it yet, might be fun.

The only musou I can compare to is HW because I haven't played DW since the PS2 days and can't remember shit about it, but there are definitely some open levels in SK. I don't know much about the genre and got this game as a gift from my fiance, so I can't really compare it much past that.

It plays the worst out of every SK game so far thanks to the crazy amount of recovery frames applied to every move on every character, which generally makes every other character a complete chore to play as.
Even the costume variety is a step down unless you pay those DLC bucks

SK stages aren't nearly as big as most Musou games, they are small, narrow and linear since most missions are just 'go from point A to B while fighting enemies and then a boss', and the other ones are just small arenas.

I find the game super addicting and relaxing, and thats the vita version; writing is a good step up from SV too. Biggest problems are that the characters play like shit until they hit around level 8, and the ranking system is insanely picky. If you lose a quarter of your health that's a D-rank, if you search for festival platforms you'll take too long and thats another D rank. So I just tend to ignore it for the most part.

It was like this in SV too, and even in SK2. It you take more than like a sixth or so of your bar in any of those games you're immediately forced to reset. It's the worst when fighting things like crows and moles in SV since you can just walk into an area and immediately get hit by one of the two instantly.

Hanabi has my favorite breach art in the game (fucking spinning rocket hammer), but without causing garunteed staggers with her hammer you'll almost never do more than a 2 hit combo on bosses if that. Renka and Kafuru outclass her like crazy.

It's not bad. Blocking and parrying could be more responsive, and the camera gets wonky at times. Also wish we could turn off or skip the transformation sequences, they get old after a while.
Rin, Daidoji and Miyabi are my favorites to play as. Don't like the gun users much besides Ryobi (because at least she's good at melee).
