I'm okay with a late PC release as long as the port is good, it's functional, runs well on sensible hardware, controls well with a mouse and keyboard and has plenty of settings options to tweak the graphics. Having dual audio to pick between english and japanese languages would be nice too, since the english dub we've heard so far has been pretty terrible. Accurate subtitles would also be nice. Also no cutting out content or changing it to sooth the fragile sensibilities of people that actively look to get offended by things.

Yes but it's one game. The problem is, that the list of exclusives is too long. So even if 10 console exclusives get announced for PC, a console player still has 10 other exclusives to look forward to. It's like a trench war. As a PC Player, even if you get one game, you still have to pray for 10 others. It never stops. Also, the Console player gets the game still. He gets everything, while you have you worried about every single title.
Isn't that frustrating? Never knowing when you get a new game (like in this case), if it runs properly on your hardware (Batman) and generally having to beg all the time to get games. The most frustrating thing has to be saying "I didn't want these games anyway" like a mantra. I don't want that weebshit. I don't want it. Until it gets announced. Then it's GOTY all over sudden.

Also, while Xbox hardware is difficult to create an emulator for, the Xbox itself is capable of supporting emulation. In fact you could say it's the primary pro of the platform. Tons of people used the Xbox to emulate older arcade games and console games. The Xbox is a clear example of the fact that if you give people the tools to pirate/emulate, they'll do it, whether they're console players or PC players.
