Are there any games like super puzzle fighter on the 3ds?
Puyo Puyo is pretty similar, but none of the 3DS games are in English or otherwise playable (without homebrew) on non-Japanese 3DS systems.

Puyo vs Tet and Swap modes are a lot easier to deal with than PuyoTet Mix.
If you want a normal Puyo Puyo game, 20th Anniversary is your only option on 3DS. Among DS games there's also Fever, Fever 2, 7, and 15th Anniversary.
Puyo Puyo Tsu is also available as a 3D Classic on either the Japanese eShop now or in a US-region cartridge (SEGA 3D Classics Collection) releasing on April 26.
