Is there any reason to own a 3DS besides the Ace Attorney series? I was interested in SMT IV Final, and haven't played a Pokemon game since Sapphire, but besides that the catalog just seems a bit sparse

There's plenty of other megaten on 3DS besides Final, and Etrian Odyssey also. Monster Hunter and Link Between Worlds are must plays.
What's the general consensus on getting an old 3DS? Does the extra CPU power make a difference in games that aren't exclusives?
