To the ones out of the loop: the comic is still doing an adaptation of Sonic Unleashed with the planet in pieces and Dark Gaia causing shit all over the place. Eggy had been dealing with Sonic & co. through a few countries when his Eggmanland base was attacked by the Nagus Twins.

Yes and no. The Silver Age SU arc just ended (3 months ago), but the other story was a one-off from several months ago. Currently, Sonic and co. are trying to get the Gaia Keys so they can access the temples and fix the planet.
