I really like online games and wish I could play more of them, but they there is a single issue that throws a wrench into the whole thing: The common person is a dog ass felching, homeless leper cock sucking niggershits.
An online game has to be designed from the ground up on the base recognition that the average person is that. And the games that attract the more mature, intelligent player end up not having enough players to make it fun.

The interactions can be more satisfying than in a single-player game. The problem is that whether or not they are good depends on the quality of the human stock you are playing with. It is generally low quality. But when it is good the game is way better than it would be in single player. Though this is not common.

The 3 big guys lost 3-4 times on the course of 5 season. The real sumo (Purple guy) never lost. BLue and green lost 2 times each, and it was always against more well built dude.
