>Fallout 4 Survival Beta
>Mods disabled again
>Fallout4.exe itself is refusing to even recognize plugins other than Automatron
People spouting 'It's just for beta!". It's over guys...
are you shitting me
>>332489997
He's forgetting to mention console commands are disabled in survivor mode.
>>332490084
That's still dumb, but I get the context now
>>332489868
>Buy game for mods.
>Mods get disabled.
It wouldn't be so alarming if we didn't just have the paid mods fiasco along with the fact that they never reverted previous attempts to stifle modding between their beta patches and release versions.
>there is no indicator to track hunger or thirst,
Only some text that.says you feel thirsty.
>If you sleep, more often than not you will wake up tired
The only thing that could make Fallout playable were the mods and bethesda fucked it up, good job.
>>332489868
>inb4 bethesda wants to get paid for others doing their work
also it has been over for a long time
>>332490084
>you need console to unfuck the constant flow of bugged npcs and quests.
bethesda confirmed 199% retarded
I think I'm more mad about the lack of traditional saving. My game likes to crash at the worst timesor the best times. when it happens I realize what's up and I stop playing
seriously, when do you guys expect bethesda starting to charge for mods made by players?
>>332490719
well the way saving is handled now is a big part of the mode, but perhaps there should be a way to break away from it and force save for those who are worried about crashes
>>332491212
after GECK if it's going to happen, but it isn't.
well, maybe on the PS4.
>>332491226
how about only being able to save once per 30 minutes or something along those lines?
sounds to me that it could be done and could work.
>>332491226
Also, do we know if it overwrites saves when you sleep? I know you can't choose a save file, and if you make too many separate save files instead of overwriting then your game can get fucked up
My experience with Oblivion, FO3, FONV and now apparently FO4 and you can bet your ass FO5 will be no exception. The coding like a house of cards behind the scenes ready to topple at any moment because it always happens all at once.
>random FPS drops with a PC that meets or exceeds the reccomended requirements
>Buggy NPC behavior
>Broken quests
>Items disapear/random status problems
>Doors lead to the wrong rooms
Like this shit has been happening since the beginning and SOME FUCKIGN HOW these shit games still sell a billion copies.
FO3 broke. my. heart.
>>332491446
shit engine shit developers good idea, it happens a lot.
>>332491446
>My experience with Oblivion
It was like this way back in Morrowind.
You put your hand in the fire and realize it burns you, and then every time bethesda makes a new fire you keep sticking your hand in there and burning yourself.
>>332491446
Little competition when it comes to open world RPGs, plus the massive mod support.
>>332491446
the funny thing about the random FPS drops is that they happen no matter what the specs.
my PC doesn't even meet the requirements and i have them and a friend has above the recommended and he has exactly the same.
always thought it was some sort of coding shit.
what i really find curious though is the times the fps drops occur. nothing special happening, like watching at a wall and suddenly massive drops
>>332491674
You like to dance close to the fire, don't you?
>>332491915
Fire can be fun to play with from time to time.
Apparently mod plugins will still work if you merge them into the Automatron esm.
What the fuck are they doing?!
>>332489868
for the survival dlc included or in general? cause based on >>332490084
it seems they're trying to stop cheating which is fucking retarded.
>>332492703
In general, if you get the beta patch no matter what mode you play in, mods are kill presently. Well, to clarify, mods that need a plugin (esp/esm) are kill, loose files only still seem to work.
>>332489868
Literally them thinking about bringing back paid modding, and they know that if people can make their own mods for free then they're out of business.
>>332490084
Bullshit.
>>332491446
>>332491674
Even further back than that. For as long as Bethesda has been making games, Bethesda has been making absurdly broken excuses for software.
It's actually one aspect they've been steadily improving at, believe it or not. Morrowind at release wasn't even 10% as buggy as the then-fully-patched Daggerfall. Fallout 4 is their most stable product in nearly two decades. They just started so fucking far behind the curve that even with all this progress they're still developing some of the most bug-ridden AAA games.
>>332492951
Nothing bullshit about it.
>>332491446
>doors leading to wrong rooms
i've never had this happen to me
do you have any videos of this because im trying hard to picture this in my mind
>>332493274
It's a """""""""""""""feautre"""""""""""""""
Kek that's actually a joke with programmers. If something isn't working right and you can't fix it, you simply come up with the excuse that it's a feature added later in development.
>>332493290
I've had doors that don't open up to anything. In fact you can't activate them.
>>332492014
i like this guy.
you retards bitch about every beta way should i give a shit
So when the fuck is the survival mode coming?
>>332492951
>Literally them thinking about bringing back paid modding
You're retarded.
It's them trying to prevent what people did in New Vegas. Modding a stack of guns, ammo, armor, and shit outside the starting area to cheese it. Same with console disable.
>People use god mods to make New Vegas Hardcore mode piss easy (There's one on Nexus that has an enemy that gives enough EXP to max your level right beside Doc Mitchell's house)
>Surprised they try and prevent it thing time around
Gotta "earn" that achievement, guys.
>>332491674
Fo4 was the last time for me. I haven't even installed a mod yet, let alone bought their dumbass DLC.
ACTUALLY UNPLAYABLE GUISE!!!
Seriously though, I thought someone would have caught this at some point.
>>332495001
>giving a fuck about how someone else plays the game
Achievements are one of the biggest fucking cancers. Arbitrary grindy bullshit is not a replacement for mechanical challenge.

It's Bethesda anon, they couldn't catch a turtle with a space shuttle.
>>332495035
It took your 12 years for you to learn to stop burning your hand.
>>332495381
>A hojillion dollar video game couldn't be bothered to check the spelling.
>Noticing it means you have autism
Their couldn't possibly be anyone as stupid as you, could they're?
>>332490185
>Google the original image
>mfw
>>332489868
>It begins.
>It's over.
Which one is it, you fag?
>>332494895
>>332495001
Who gives a fuck if people cheat in an offline game? It's their experience they're ruining.
>but achievements!
Dumb, pointless reward system.
>>332495549
Are you trying to irk me with this sort of thing?
>>332495706
It began before it was over!
>>332495847
How scandalous!
>>332495769
Corporate feedback delivery architecture; data mining service disguised as a "feature."
>records various meta data about playerbase progression through specific sections of games
>is in every modern game
>cannot be turned off
You can see why they knew from the beginning they had to pretend that's not what it was.
>>332494895
If that were the case they would've done that with Skyrim. Like they tried to do with paid mods.
>>332495343
>>332495769
>Play and win 30 hands of Caravan
FUCK YOU I'M NOT DOING THAT BULLSHIT
>>332492124
Bug testing
>>332489868
Its your fault for using a BETA feature, Bethesda is incompetent at best, but its not their fault that you are plain retarded and stupid.
