I think the first game was pretty good, but fuck the final boss. The rest of the game is so fair, but it took me hours to beat the final boss. And even then, it's not like Cave Story where I feel I could do it again, I just feel like I got lucky. I did a run from start to finish and ended up with about 70 deaths, and I'd say over 60 of them were all from the last boss.

I dunno, the first one was hard enough on Easy. It was MOSTLY waiting for the you-died-quote to come up and to get back to playing.
If it was more like Super Meat Boy where you die, and can mash a button to get back to playing, yeah I'll play it.

The last boss gave me the most trouble. It helps when you realize you can walk down between sections without falling, so you can at least know you can walk towards the center if you're not there.
My biggest issue was with the poop shit dropping stage. Before, with the fireballs, you can kind of guide him to miss, and after with the four spike balls, you can dodge them.

I forgot, I took a screenshot of when I beat the game too. I don't know where the fuck I got 70 deaths from, looks like it was 135. Only a LITTLE off! about 120 were from Fred Fucks.
