Depends, in multiplayer games I'm always the healer or some sort of high damage support, like zenyatta, if I'm alone, I run a stealth build with silenced ranged weapons, with decent sword and shield skills if things go bad

I've always been a big fan of the armored cleric. It might feel like easy mode at times but it's fun to me to have heals and the occasional holy magic as a backup.
I alternate between spunky short-haired tomboy girl and grizzled, scarred badass grandpa when I play.
I occasionally branch out into other ideas but those are the main two.

The guy who either fights with his fists in a game with conventional weapons for their setting, or the guy who fights with conventional weapons in a setting with unconventional weapons. IE, monk in Fantasy setting, Laguna in Sci-fantasy.
It's either swordmage or armored bowman/swordsman combo.
Fuck that faggy "hop around dodgy rogue bowman" shit, I'm a knight engaging you from a distance, where you either get shot up or make the dumb decision to try to close the gap, in which case sword and board motherfucker.
Any fast magic user. Usually results in some class that uses DOTS because it's hard to balance, but whatever. Magic is cool, but stop-and-go casting is fucking boring.

Either a thief class that lets me sneak around like a little bitch and stab shit from behind or a heavily armored juggernaut that bashes faces in. I'm a sucker for stealth and rage mechanics.
Depends entirely on the game but generally, I gravitate towards speedier, more combo-oriented characters, especially if they have a lot of mobility as well.
