On one hand they feel fresh and new rather than having many champions still having 1 or 2 abilities that are just active passives for "gain 10% Attack Speed" or someshit. But I know how frustrating it can be to have your favorite champion just be changed all the sudden.

Lets see, released as an alpha, took 5+ patches to not crash,ai turn timers of 5+ minutes, clunky as fuck UI that makes you click though 4 separate screens to launch a fleet.
Game still takes 2+ minutes per turn from turn 1 on.

The game isn't bad in the sense it doesn't play well or not work. It's just so boring and uninteresting. I couldn't finish it because I just didn't care at all about it.
Not a very original list, but Big Rigs, Ride to Hell, and Colonial Marines are probably the worst three games I've ever had the misfortune of playing. They're not just bad, boring, and barren of content, they're buggy broken bastardized bundles of code. Big Rigs is legendary, but at least you can finish everything it has to offer in about 15 minutes. Ride to Hell was suffering, I had to quit somewhere around the ending of that interminable airplane graveyard sequence. Easily the worst gunplay I've ever seen in a game. Colonial Marines would have been merely mediocre if it wasn't for the perfect storm of laughably terrible AI, broken physics, atrocious pacing, awful graphics, miserable level design, and shitting all over one of the best movies ever made. And you fight fucking humans half the time, in an Aliens game. Just terrible.
Recently?
Bravely default.
First four chapters start out fucking fantastic, likable characters, fun gameplay and a good soundtrack.
Then suddenly out of nowhere, 5-8 makes you do the same shit again with little changes. It doesn't take long yeah, but holy shit was it boring.
And then chapter 9 happens and while the bosses are cool and fun.
It doesn't make up for the 4 chapters of filler that take up half the fucking game.
The story just fucking shit itself and Ringabel and Edea end up being the only based characters.
4/10 overall.
In recent memory? Easily Mario Party 10. Played one game at a friend's place, and afterwards we hooked up a Wii and I went back to my place to get my copy of Mario Party 5. Seriously, one of us even said it wasn't even a game, and I hardly disagree. The car has completely killed Mario Party.
Basically killed my will to buy anything weeb ever again.

DOAX3 was lazy and boring as shit. They actually removed fucking minigames and recycled so much shit it's fucking awful. Some parts of the game look so lazy it's fucking sad, like the entire casino. discounting the obvious ones like older shitty NES games, it's either ethan: meteor hunter or dynamite jack. both of them made it onto humble bundles somehow and both of them suck really, really bad. terrible visual design (dynamite jack looks like someone's first Flash project), badly optimized, boring gameplay that other people have done before and better.

Alone in the Dark for the Xbox 360
The controls made the game pretty frustrating and my save games never saved in the right place for some reason. It's almost like they knew this shit so they have you the option to skip to anywhere in the game at any point. But you lost all your inventory and it became difficult. Also, after an ok start, the games story takes a rapid dive.
I borrowed it off a friend who hyped it up. I had to give it back to him unfinished and just straight up tell him I didn't like the game. Only other game I've done that for is Borderlands, which was too cringey to play.

that I played is probably far cry 2. Its not like it didn't try or was broken on release, but from a design standpoint it was a complete fucking mess and was a chore to play through.
That and there was a lot of potential. The interview tapes with the Jackal was some of the best characterization I've seen and I was legit interested, even the ending was neat for the twist but it just didn't work and the game deserved better.
