Original FF14 was maddening when it first came out. It would of been okay if it wasn't for the UI lag. That drove me god damn insane. Everything was painful to do, even opening doors.
Vanguard Saga of Heroes was a buggy mess from the get go and the gameplay was garbage.
The Secret World had a memory leak issue that would make the game crash every ten minutes (which they still haven't fixed). TERA had the same problem. The combat in SW
was pretty bad too.
But I think the worst game was Darkfall. Bad gameplay, shitty grinding for every little thing, required a supercomputer but still looked like complete ass, and the community was the absolute worst. They would respond to any criticism of the game, or sometimes requests for bug fixes, with calling people a "care bear." The "hardcore" crowd macroed their skills from the get go making them all infinitely better than the rest of us plebs and then they patched in a fix making sure nobody else could catch up while not punishing the offenders.

Firefight is great, and Reach was a cool take on the campaign, and it's better overall than Halo 3... But H1/H2 are clearly a step above.
