I am waiting for a sale to get Rise of the Tomb Raider. 2013 had good game play but I didn't like the levels of torture porn Laura went through. I mean I grew up playing a lot of Tomb Raider games and it never felt right seeing her get beat up so easily. I hear Rise is much better so I will give it a shot, but I can't justify paying full price for it

Yeah i enjoyed 2013 raider but they went overboard with the gore. It felts pointless and over the top. I also grew up playing Tomb Raider, fond memories of the first time it appeared on a demo disc, awesome games. I've wanted to play Rise since it came out but i can't justify the price myself. Generally i only buy full price games if i know im really really going to dig it. Other than that i'll pirate and try it, if i cant put it down i'll buy it.
