FF1 is a "classic", which means check it out if you enjoy very old-school JRPGs and avoid otherwise.
FF4-7 are worth looking at, and give you a bit of variety between the titles. FF10 and FF12 are fairly good overall, although a bit different from the others. Final Fantasy Tactics (not the FFTA games) is fairly good as well, especially the story, although nothing similar to the gameplay of the others.
Out of the rest:
