Is it even controversial to praise the aesthetics? The game was gorgeous. Color Splash looks gorgeous too.
The gameplay kind of snuck up on me. Once I got used to the economy of sticker acquisition and expenditure, it hit sort of a nice flow. Some of the puzzles were pretty solid too.
I'd like to see a proper sequel to the original PM games as much as anyone but I don't hate the new ones.
