Usually when this happens I hover my mouse over task manager in the task bar and it shows up over the black screen and I just use the arrow keys to navigate to the game then hit delete and it closes it.

Well I was talking about Skyrim.
There are so many scripts, cleaners, modifications to code and saves, and general purpose cleanup by the community and it still crashes more than any other game I've ever played.
I dunno what the fuck Bethesda did to make a game so unstable.
Even if you manage to stabilize the game it'll still eventually die from save bloat. Even the modifications to how it stores saves don't prevent or fix the issue, they just delay it.
