5 was great for the anime manga fler it had for the substories and sideactivities, like the high stakes mahjong girl, riichi'ng two tiles after every round start, and the drifter substory, str8 from Initial D. Basically they took Ryosuke and the Shinigami R32 story arc and transformed it a bit, but i still teared up.
