I used to play Vanilla, and when I did this thought occurred to me a few times; there are lots of things I'm proud of in this game, that most people in the world wouldn't give a shit about. I was super psyched when my guild downed Nefarion for the first time, he dropped my T2 chest, and I got it. My guild was jealous, people on the server were jealous, and it felt great.
Then I'd talk to a relative during a holiday and they'd ask what I'd been up to, and though I'd love for them to care about my full T2, I knew they wouldn't. I cared so much, and it mattered to so few people.
Now I'm on the other side of the fence and this feels fucking weird. I haven't played since Wrath, and I'm sure that whatever you're talking about is awesome. You should be proud, and it feels weird that I can't for a second appreciate whatever the fuck that is.

If you do LFR right now you get gear that is as strong as the best gear available two tiers ago, gear that was the best at the beginning of the expansion. And you don't even get tier bonuses anymore, which you did in VoA during WotLK, and also you don't get good trinkets, don't get the achievements, titles, and mounts, and also you don't get the same armor and weapon models as people who run the higher difficulties.
LFR is to catch up, to get to see the bosses and an extremely simplified and forgiving version of their mechanics if you can't commit to a raiding guild for whatever reason.

There were no dungeons that fit all 3 criteria. i find it hard to think of one that fit two at a time.
As for dungeons that you needed to run over and over for rep for attunement i would say that is bullshit as well. Only dungeon i can think of that used rep for attunement was naxx. like 1% of the game. and having higher rep just lowered the gold cost of attunement you didnt actually need to be exalted. I did that attunement effortlessly and i did not run lots of 5-10 man dungeons.
