I'm playing DS2SOTFS in ps3, and I read that you need to collect the 3 keys for the dlc's. Yesterday I tried to go to the king of the old iron king, so I looked in internet where to get it. When I went for the key, there only were the shield, and not the key. I tried to search for help in internet but anything helps. The game is actualized and I'm sure it is the scholar version, because I saw the scholar of the first sin NPC. I wanted to call to bandai namco for help, this is too strange. Any help?

It's just vannilla + 3 dlc.
The 3 key is already in your inventory.
The problem is that they aren't also in my inventory, and the npc, scholar of the first sin, is in the game.

Even wihout the dlc you can enter the room for co-op.
But DS2 ps3 don't come with the 3 DLC ,when you buy it ,3 key will be added to your inventory.

You always could enter the 3 DLC chambers, it's so you could put your sign down for the bosses there and co op with people who had it.
Be sure of your version, mostly. Regular DS2 gives you the keys when you select your class. SOTFS makes you find them.
Scholar NPC shows up regardless.

The Scholar edition on PS3 don't add the 3DLC for free.
The scholar update is free not the DLC. you can enter the room because From make it so to co-op.

If you it is the regular version of Dark Souls 2 (not SOTFS) you need to buy the DLC from the PS store.

Its actually kinda tough to find the information without knowing what your looking for.
The box of the gane alzó says it INCLUDES the dlc's. Its in spanish, but it says: The definitiva edition of the experience Dark Souls II includes a great variety of new content, and also 3 downlodable chapters, aclamated by the critics.
