Undertale was made from scratch. This fan game it uses a lot of ideas and mechanics, and graphic style from older mother games. This shit will end being teared apart if its not as good as undertale.

Nintendo doesn't give a rat's ass. How many Nintendo projects got hit with a cease and desist? AM2R is still going. Countless Mario fan games have been made. The only C&D from Nintendo that I know of is from that HD Mario 64 thing, but the guy was running ads on his website.

that anon clearly meant undertale gameplay being "original" in the sense that there's no prior game that it's directly copying from or have to live up to. meanwhile m4 will not only have to be good relatively to recent games, it will also have to live up to it's previous games if it doesn't want to get slammed.
