Hi, /v/, what are some god-tier games that deserve so much hype?
Ill start with my second favorite game of all time. Okami. Fucking love this game and i wish more people could experience it.

Okami has been constantly circle-jerked by gamers ever since its release, even moreso than post-WW Zelda games.
Just because it's not known amongst the general public doesn't mean it's underrated.

sheeeet is an alright game but it has zero difficulty, its over 40 hour long and constantly hailed as the best playable painting ever.

Okami is just a zelda clone.
And it gets enough attention for what it is.
This one was well known in post soviet space, but afaik didn't get popularity it deserved in west eu/usa.

Fuck this "It's long so it's bad!" meme. Like, the game has it's flaws but that is absolutely not one of them.
I fucking wish games were still the length of Okami, especially when the last 1/2 to 1/3 of the game has some of the most fun parts. The only stuff that drags on is having to re-do the Orochi fight twice, but Okami's length is fantastic and actually makes me feel like I'm playing a complete and fully fleshed out game. People who use a game being long, especially if it's a game they enjoyed (Why the hell would you want to play something LESS?), as a negative thing confuse the shit out of me.
Like I could understand if it got too repetitive or felt padded out and tedious, but most of Okami is you experiencing new stuff save for the stupid bossrush at the end and the orochi fights.

It's on early access on steam right now.
You may just wanna keep an eye on it for now since they're still doing bug fixes and the game will be cheaper when it releases. It is content complete now though.

What is good about that game? The world is fucking bland, puzzle solving is even worse than Zelda puzzle solving, War is one of the worst design characters in video game history, and there's no real exploring.
Say what you will about Zelda but at least it gives you way more freedom and is much better pace than that piece of shit game. TP and SS are the worst 3D Zelda game and it blows Darksiders out of the fucking water.
