Yes, but it still tried to be more cinematic than what 1 and 2 were. Which I guess is where Quantum Break is going, only with QB you have long range dodge options, shields and freeze bombs complete with melee attacks and delayed bullet attacks or using the frozen enviroment to your advantage and well, it looks morefun.

GTA IV was unplayable
RDR was better because the guns were all semi-auto or lever/bolt-action but still had issues
MP3 was just as bad, and the bullet-time gimmick was terrible
GTA V was somewhat better
Now the setting is shit, it does absolutely nothing interesting with it, and it's just a pain
Max is unbearable. He whines, he complains, he bitches, he moans, he's moody, he's surly, and he never fucking shuts the fuck up
It's a huge failure of the devs if the player would rather have the MC die than keep playing
The game has absolutely ridiculous pacing issues, and I'm not only talking about the unskippable cutscenes but also about the constant flashbacks that actually get you to remotely interesting missions
