It's literally the same thing that caused the industry to crash in the Atari years; too much shovelware and confusing splits in compatibility eventually leading people to abandon the technology as a fad. If you think it may be boring, it probably will. Combat is not its strong suit. It has great writing and the sense of exploration and character development (I love how you get to pick your character's engame goal to win) but it's mostly reading text and watching a fuel meter. Takes a long time to build up enough to go far past london too. I had a great time
