I've played about 500 rounds in the PC beta thus far, not only is it a poor choice to play ANY FPS game with a controller but it's no different with OW. You have a massive difference in how each character moves and plays and that requires you to make many different flicks, drags, and spins to keep up with what's going on. If a character like Tracer is around you're going to be doing nothing but quick spins and 180s trying to guess their next blink spot and try your best to hit them. If you're going against Genji he is also going to be dashing around but combining that with vertical double jumps that you'll have to track. I could keep going on and on about how many angles and levels the maps have that would require you to constantly move around to check, trying to turn and run from a diva ult, sniping in general, or landing hooks as roadhog.
Don't do this to yourself.

No one said anything about platform, I'm referring solely to the control method used to play the game. Using a controller for a FPS game ruins half of the mechanics and in the case of overwatch specifically it really fucks with a lot of the abilities and movement oriented challenges.
If you want a dumbed down experience then go for it, not like I'll have to play with you.
