Nintendo isn't going to come right out and say "Our system is dead, we're stopping production".
I don't think they've even sold off the initial supply they built up from launch, so I doubt they are actively producing more Wii Us even if they haven't officially pulled the plug.
I thought they stopped the wii, not the wiiu.
